AIR FORCE SCHOOL SUBROTO PARK, HQ WAC (Unit) is located in Delhi, has made a name for providing quality Pre-primary education to the children of Air Force Personnel. The School is being run under the aegis ‘Air Force Educational and Cultural Society’ a non-profit making welfare institution registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The IAF Educational and Cultural Society is a registered body under Societies Registration ACT 1860 vide Registration No. S/11214 of 1980. The society’s primary objective is promotion of education, fine arts & culture and diffusion of useful knowledge mainly amongst the past and present employees of IAF, their children and families. School is registered with the society side Registration No. PPS/11/WAC dated 07 Oct 2022.
The school has adequately trained teaching staff to support its different educational activities for grooming the young children through Pre – primary education. The School was adjudged the best among the Air Force Schools under Western Air Command and third best amongst all the Air Force Schools in 2008-2009.
Presently, Gp Capt Naveen Kumar Chabba Commanding officer of HQ WAC (Unit) is the Chairman of School Management Committee. He has given new impetus to the improvement efforts and put the target for the highest standards in imparting pre-primary education.
The School has embarked on a modernization programme and to that end; it has chosen to go in for quality management system as per ISO-9001-2008 its organization and functioning.
